Section 1: Welcome, and how these terms work

Welcome to Debt Freedom Way. These terms apply to you from the moment you start using this website, whether you are reading, comparing your options or asking to be introduced to a personal loan lender. Please read all nine sections before you go further.

How we handle the details you share with us is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.

Not sure about something here? Then hold off on sharing your details until you are. You are free to leave this page whenever you like, and you never need to give a reason.

Section 2: Rules for using this site

This website has one job: introducing you to a personal loan lender. We give you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to use it for that job and for nothing else. While you use it, you agree that you will not:

  • Try to overload, disrupt or break into our servers, systems or networks
  • Reach another person’s information, or any restricted part of the site, without permission
  • Copy, scrape or republish our content for commercial use without our written consent
  • Post or send material that is illegal, abusive, harmful or infected with viruses or other malicious code
  • Run bots, scripts or other automated tools against the site, or use it in any deceptive way

If you break any of these rules, we may suspend or end your access without notice.

Section 3: Who we are, and who we are not

Debt Freedom Way is a referral and marketing website. We are not a lender, we do not arrange or broker loans, and we are not a law firm or a credit counseling agency. We do not set interest rates or loan terms, and we cannot sway a lender’s decision. Our role is to introduce you to a personal loan lender that is open to borrowers with circumstances like yours, so the two of you can carry on directly.

Sending a request through this site does not amount to a loan application, and no lender has to make you an offer. From that point, every decision rests with the lender: whether it will lend, what rate to charge, and which terms and structure to offer, all under its own underwriting rules and the laws that apply to it.

Our part ends at the introduction. The information you provide may be shared with the lender we introduce you to, and that lender may pay us when an introduction is made. Debt Freedom Way never charges you to use it.

Section 4: For information only, not advice

Content on this site, such as articles, tools and guides, is meant to give general information, not personal advice. Nothing in it should be relied on as direction on your finances, legal position, taxes or credit. Before you take on a loan or make any other major financial move, speak with a qualified professional who understands your whole situation.

We try to keep what we publish correct and current, yet Debt Freedom Way makes no warranty, express or implied, that it is accurate, complete or right for your situation. Anything you do based on it is your own decision and your own risk.

Section 5: How loan introductions work

Any figures, rates or examples that appear on this site are there only to explain an idea. They are not offers, and they do not predict what a lender will propose or what you will qualify for. If a lender does make a proposal, it comes from that lender’s own review of your credit, income and circumstances when you are introduced.

  • Example numbers and rates are illustrative and are never guaranteed
  • What is available, and on what terms, varies by lender and by state
  • Looking at your options usually begins with a soft inquiry, which generally does not affect your credit score. A full application, and any hard inquiry that comes with it, is a separate step the lender will walk you through
  • Borrowing is a serious commitment: falling behind on payments can lead to extra charges and interest, collection efforts or harm to your credit
  • Approval, pricing and terms are decided solely by the lender under its own underwriting standards
  • A loan you accept is subject to that lender’s own agreement and to the state and federal laws that cover it

Section 6: Lenders and third-party sites

You may find links here to lenders, service providers and other sites that we do not operate, and we work with some of them. We do not control these parties, and we are not responsible for what they publish, how they operate or how carefully they protect your information. Any agreement you make with a lender is between you and that lender alone.

Before you accept anything a lender offers, go through its agreement, its list of fees and its privacy policy from start to finish.

Section 7: How far our liability goes

To the fullest extent the law allows, Debt Freedom Way, together with its directors, officers, employees, representatives and successors, is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, punitive or consequential losses, such as lost revenue or lost data, that result from:

  • Using this website, or being unable to use it
  • Choices you make in reliance on material published here
  • Someone else gaining unauthorized access to your personal information
  • Anything a lender you are introduced to, or another outside party, does, publishes or fails to do
  • Technical faults, interruptions or outages affecting the service

Section 8: Which law applies, and how these terms change

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without giving effect to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from them will be decided exclusively in the courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.

We may revise these terms from time to time. A revision takes effect when it is posted on this page, and if you keep using the site after that, you are treated as having accepted it. The version shown here is always the current, governing one.

Section 9: Asking us about these terms

If anything here is unclear, or you would like to ask about something else, call (855) 259-1980 or email [email protected]. Full contact details follow just below.

That is the end of the terms. Back to the top
